About

Karina Kabak

I work across painting, installation, photography, and text.
My practice begins with observation. I’m interested in the things we stop noticing: the systems we move through every day, the habits that quietly shape our attention, and the moments when something familiar becomes difficult to recognise.

Rather than illustrating ideas, I use making as a way of thinking. Each work starts with something that refuses to leave me alone – an image, an object, a phrase, or a situation – and develops through staying with it.

I live and work in Moscow.
